Critically acclaimed photographer, Jason Michael Lang, has spent the past two decades traversing the globe from his Bangkok base to capture some of the world’s most interesting people and exotic destinations. His work, a cinematic twist on classic reportage, features regularly in the pages of Wallpaper, Monocle, Conde Nast Traveller, DestinAsian, Saveur, and GQ Britain. Lang’s latest assignment took him to Europe to capture images for The Roads to Rome, a recently published cookbook by Clarkson-Potter which examines the elemental recipes and foodways that developed along the ancient trade routes of southern Italy.
